<div dir="ltr"><div>Greetings PRObE users and supporters!</div><div><br></div><div>It's that time again! We're in need of your supportive comments as we are working on the PRObE renewal proposal. </div><div><br></div><div><div><i><u>Letters of support:</u></i></div><div>  Our renewal proposal will only be as strong as the community support we can put behind it. PRObE is a unique resource and we need your support and feedback to keep it going for you! Please put your supportive comments in writing and send it to us at <a href="mailto:PRObE@newmexicoconsortium.org" target="_blank">PRObE@newmexicoconsortium.org</a>. The NSF needs to know that you value the service they are providing for you. Sooner is better, but we ask that you send them to us <i><u>no later than Nov 26</u></i>. The general ideas behind our proposal are continued efforts in providing large resources for systems research, but also to grow the project and providing new resources to improve your research environment. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.</div></div><div><br></div><div><i><u>What would be valuable additions to PRObE?</u></i></div><div>  You all know what PRObE currently provides to the community. However, if PRObE were to grow and develop - what implements would you like to see in terms of functionality and usability? Anything else? Trainings, tutorials, workshops, etc? If so, at which venues would this be valuable? Is there some specific type of hardware that would be particularly valuable for PRObE to have, for example? Please provide some motivation to why you think these things are important to you.</div><div><b><br></b></div><div><i><u>How could PRObE be used in educational settings?</u></i></div><div>  Many of you have approached us about potentially using PRObE for your distributed/parallel/systems programming classes - and we might have turned you down in the past because it didn't fit with PRObE's current goals. When renewing PRObE however, some of these goals might change, and supporting educational efforts is definitely part of the plan. If you are teaching a class, or plan on teaching a class, could PRObE resources be beneficial to you? If so, how?<br></div><div><br></div><div>We greatly value any feedback, comments, ideas, and questions that you might have.</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you for all your support! We look forward to hearing from you!</div><br clear="all"><div><div><div dir="ltr"><i><b>Andree Jacobson</b></i><br>
