The 15th IEEE Workshop on Silicon Errors in Logic - System Effects

SELSE 2019 (http://www.selse.org<http://www.selse.org/>)

March 27 - March 28, 2019, Stanford, Palo Alto, CA, USA

Important dates:

  *   Early registration deadline: March 20, 2019
  *   Conference dates: March 27-28, 2019

The growing complexity and shrinking geometries of modern manufacturing technologies are making high-density, low-voltage devices increasingly susceptible to the influence of electrical noise, process variation, transistor aging, and the effects of natural radiation. The system-level impact of these errors can be far-reaching, both in safety-critical aerospace and automotive applications and also for large scale servers and high performance applications.

The SELSE workshop provides a unique forum for discussion of current research and practice in system-level error management. SELSE includes papers that address the system-level effects of errors from a variety of perspectives: architectural, logical, circuit-level, and semiconductor processes. Participants from industry and academia explore both current technologies and future research directions.

We are now proud to announce the program for SELSE 2019: http://www.selse.org/index.php/program. This year's program includes:

  * Two keynote talks from Heather Quinn (LANL) and Moin Qureshi (Georgia Tech)
  * A panel discussion on Autonomous Systems' Safety and Reliability
  * A panel discussion on New Technology and Reliability
  * A special session with invited talks and tutorials on Resilient Machine Learning Systems
  *   An interactive poster session

Registration: http://www.selse.org/index.php/registration

The registration website is now open and the early registration deadline (for discounted rates) is March 20, 2019. As always, early student registrations rates are kept under $100 to encourage student participation.

Transportation and local information: http://www.selse.org/index.php/transportation-local-information

SELSE will be held on the Stanford University campus. You can find more information about the venue and how to get there in the above link. We negotiated a discounted hotel room rate for SELSE participants with the Schwab Residential Center. A limited number of rooms are available and you can reserve a room during registration for the workshop.

Travel grants: http://www.selse.org/index.php/travel-grants

SELSE may be able to offer travel support to students, post-docs, and early career faculty. When they are available, further details about the application procedure and who can apply will be posted at http://www.selse.org/index.php/travel-grants.
